Has anyone heard news about WaMu going bankrupt lately?

Just wondering if I should look for a new bank before I lose a lot of savings. What would happen to my money if they did go bankrupt???

1.  Go read up on the FDIC.  Unless you have more than $100,000 in your account, you are insured for the balance.

2.  WaMu is having difficulties, but it is NOT bankrupt.
