Has anyone heard of 1000 Sealant used on sealing gaskets i think on outboard motors etc?

If so what exactly is it and where do you get it?

  1. blue silicone is a around type of sealent.... and in most cases you dont really need anything but that would be what i would use to hold the gasket in place while replacing

    Marpox had a Sealer 1000.  OMC markets an equivalent they recommend for their engines. http://www.outboardmotor.biz/t/012980.ht...
