Has anyone heard of Cricklewood, London?!?!?

I am moving there from Australia in 2 weeks to work as a nanny, and I would love to get some more personalised information on it!

I live near Cricklewood and go to the gym there (there is a really nice Virgin gym there). Nearby is Hampstead which has Hampstead Heath, a HUGE park and tons of playgrounds for kids. Brent Cross mall is close by too. And the O2 center (movie theater, big grocery store, several places to eat, a good bookstore). It's a nice area, you should have plenty to do with the kids and for yourself.
