Has anyone heard of Penn Foster?

Penn Foster is a very popular home school choice for high school.

I will say this the tests are open book and there are several people who were coming here for answers on their tests. Don't do that Penn Foster watches theses sites for cheating.

Yes, I've looked into it for my son.  It looks to "cheap" if you ask me.  While the price may seem okay, to me a red flag is how much cheaper it is than other high school virtual schools.

I believe there is no teacher-led lessons and in order to get help, you have to contact their help department.  I want better than that for my son.  I either want to teach/oversee his classes, or I'll pay for the more expensive options so he can have a certified teacher leading the course.

Also, to me "open book" exams are not the best idea.  We do not operate that way in this house.  I'm also appalled at the number of PF students who come here to cheat.
