  1. How about a more efficient Processing of existing Fuel ? Has anyone brought  to Richard Branson's  attention the Fact that Regular Pump Gasoline can safely be converted into Propane ? My Avatar is a Photo of a Device I have constructed that does just that ! This has the Potential to enable even the largest SUV to get 50 + MPG, and Emit 10 Times less Pollution than a Conventional Fuel System ! I've Lit it on Fire to prove it actually Works. Notice the Color Spread of the Flame. Blue to Yellow to Orange. Compare it to the Flame from a Butane Lighter with the Flame turned up.Same Colors . No way to Fake That ! An even better Photo is on My 360 Page. The Point is this. All Gasoline Powered Vehicles in the USA from ' 96 to the Present are required by the EPA-OBD II Law to run at 14.7 Parts of Air to 1 Part of Fuel.Any Change, even if Fuel Economy is improved, and more importantly, Polluting Exhaust Emissions are lowered, will result in a Failed Vehicle Inspection ! The Vehicle's Oxygen Sensor, with Vaporized Gasoline used,  will not Register the "Proper" Level of Pollution, indicating  14.7 Air to 1 Fuel Ratio , since Vaporized Fuel is 100 Parts of Air to 1 Part of Fuel. Thus, it is entirely possible to Fail a Vehicle Inspection for not emitting enough Pollution ! This is Insane ! Exemptions are Granted for Propane, Natural Gas, and Hydrogen, but not Vaporized Gasoline ! Why Not ? I'm not the First to Question this. For Proof, go to http://energy21.freeservers.com/bookrep....  This Guy has Spent over $70,000 of His own, and as far as I know, has been Silenced. I can't get in Contact with him. Also, do a Google Search on Charles Nelson Pogue, and Read through His Patents. Want more ? The next Time You go out to the Parking Lot, Look closely at the Exhaust Pipe Tips of Vehicles that have Passed the Emissions Test. On more than a few, You'll see a Black Carbon Deposit. That doesn't happen with Propane, Natural Gas, or Hydrogen ! Then, run Your Finger around the inner perimeter of the Pipes that are Carboned up.What will accumulate on Your Finger is, in effect, unburned Gasoline ! And that's just what's on the Pipe ! Guess where the rest of it goes ? Take a deep Breath, if You Dare ! And it's illegal to even attempt to make an Improvement on any Vehicle 11 Years Old, or Newer, that's Fueled with Regular Pump Gasoline !  Big Oil, and Big Government have Won ! And there's nothing Anyone can do about it !

  2. Not heard of it before your question....but there is a website, check link below..

"Virgin Fuels was set up in recognition of the Virgin Group’s commitment to investment in the renewable energy sector.  In September 2006, Richard Branson made a $3bn commitment to combat global warming announced at the Clinton Global Initiative.  As a first step, Virgin Fuels will invest up to $400mn over the next three years in renewable energy projects around the world.

Virgin Fuels works alongside the Virgin Group portfolio companies on a range of activities, and benefits from the Group’s strong relationships with government, institutions and businesses around the world.

The Virgin Fuels investment team is based in London with offices in the US as well as a global presence through the Virgin Group network."

  3. God I hope not...

Virgins are a terrible thing to waste...

Better take out the rain Forrests..

  4. Sadly there is no super (CO2 free) fuel of the future. It is all hype and probably nothing new.

    It could have been:

    1) A bio-fuel, a fuel formed from plant products which is carbon neutral. However these plants have to grow somewhere, possibly instead of normal food and with a growing world population, tricky to use to fuel the world.

    2) Hydrogen, which has to be generated somehow using electricity. This electicity has to come from renewables to be truely CO2 free.

  5. I don't exactly know what Branson style is, but I wouldn't go looking for virgins in Branson either.
