Has anyone heard of Vista Research Trust? Its a " secret shopper" thing? I can't find anything on it!?

I received a letter in the mail and large check for 3480.00 and it tells me to go shopping and then western union the 2950.00 back to a person either in new york, houston. I did sign up to be a secret shopper but I have never seen this kinda thing. I did call the number on the letter and talk to a person but I called a few times and got the same person each time. It tells you to go shop at either wal-mart, Target ,or kmart. To spend 80 bucks and then fill out this form and then fax it back to them. I am kinda leaning towards a scam but I am hoping someone else has heard of this and knows about it. Please help me out!

This is a scam.  I, unfortunately, went for it.   I signed up to be a secret shopper too.  Unfortunately it went to the wrong place.  It took the check 7 days to clear and it was a fraudulent check.  Shred and move on.
