Has anyone heard of a company called UK Bankruptcy Ltd

Question

We believe we may have been misold an IVA and have come across this company who are telling us that they can help in taking us through bankruptcy. Can anyone confirm that they are a legitimate company and has anyone any experience of them.

If you want advice on IVA or bankruptcy do NOT go to one of these private companies, which money out of it. Get assistance free of Charge from your local CAB office or local authority money advisor

You don't need 'help' in self declaration of bankruptcy. 'Help' = more expenditure down the drain. Research it on the net. There is plenty of good advice. It's time the government cracked down on IVA practitioners. They seem to cause more problems than they solve.

So long as you have no appreciable assets bankkruptcy is a quick and clean solution. But do the research!

Yes I have heard of them but never dealt with them.

Yopu say in your question you believe you were "misold an IVA" now you are asking about UK Bancruptcy Ltd the IVA frim and Bankruptcy Ltd are companies who are charging you money to help with your debts. When the Citizens Advice Bureau and other charities do the same thing for free, why pay private companies? Just a thought.

its a limited company so look it up on companies house. for a small fee you can get indepth information about the company and see whether they are legit.
