  1. i just got th letter today i reserved my spot at the meeting.  I'm kinda excited this year they are going to china. i really want to go, i had heard about it before from my friend who went to Europe her trip was 6,000 she said my trip maybe cheaper because she went to six countries while this year they are only going to one, has anyone ever gone to china on this program if so how much was it?

  2. Usually if you're in a gifted program your teacher will sign you up to get it.  I ahve that too.

  3. yeah i recieved that too last year and this year. i dont know how they pick their people but my newpaper in my town had a huge write up about it so it must be a great program. i have to go to my meeting in september so hopefully i will learn more about it

  4. No, sorry.

  5. Yes I've been on 2 people to people trips so far and i just got a letter for a third. People to People was founded in 1956 by Dwight Eisenhower, and in my opinion it is a great way to learn about different countries. Some trips however can be quite expensive. My trip to Europe was 10,000 dollars. They can be picked by teacher recommendation or you can be recommended by another person who went on a trip. If you get recommended you have to go to an interview.

  6. Yea, I've been getting those for awhile now. From what I heard, it's a pretty great experience. Usually, teachers are the ones that refer you or you've probably been doing enough community service to get noticed like that. Well, congrats!
