  1. Yes, that is Sujok seed therapy. It is the Korean form of acupressure. They have a slightly different method for finding the corresponding organs on the hands (different to regular acupressure).

The seed therapy feels like it is effective.

There is a book on it by Korean master Professor Park Jae Woo who also conducts training in different parts of the world. (India and Russia at least).

You may correspond with their centre in Jaipur (Rajasthan) India -email to Ashok Kumar Kothari--<sujokakk@sify.com> for further info.

I liked the book. It explains how different seeds and grains are used for different organs. Usually the seed looks like the organ- such as kidney beans for kidneys.

That may not be a very important aspect but it is interesting. Usually I have found practitioners to just use whatever seed is most convenient for them, such as mung beans and fenugreek seeds. Easy to do for yourself (and others) once you get the basic idea of how to.

    Good luck

  2. It is called su-jok acupressure.

    My sister practices that.
