Has anyone heard of insects dying at one's front door after a tragedy occurring in one's life?

I know it must sound like hocus pocus but very recently we had death in the family. Now, almost everyday a new insect has come to die right outside the front door. Yesterday it was a large caterpillar and today a giant moth. This has never occurred here before in the 2 years we've lived here and I couldn't help but wonder...thoughts? knowledge? links?

  1. Maybe you should look into this... I find this interesting and thought-provoking.

I'm sorry for the tragedy you went through.

  2. I can understand why you are wondering.

If this has never happened before it does seem a little strange.

Here's my strange thing...........whenever something bad is around the corner for me........I see an owl.

    For instance,

An owl once flew straight into my car grill and a friend of my husband's committed suicide.

An owl sat in the tree in my backyard for 3 days and my husband was diagnosed with lung cancer.

An owl flew past my car window and a bolt fell out from the engine and the car stopped within 1 minute of seeing the owl.

An owl was on the bridge near my home and between the bridge and my house a black wallaby jumped into the road and I nearly hit him/her.

It could be coincidence but I am not convinced of this.

Anyway, take heart and note what creatures they are and when they appeared and how long after the person died.

    Keep a diary.....that is what I do.

Even if for no other reason than to get it out of your head.

  3. Are you leaving the front light on now? Insects are drawn to light.

    ps Sorry for your loss.

  4. The porch light kills them.

  5. Yes, I stepped on a cockroach. That was his life's tragedy.
