  1. Not mountain bikes but mountain biking shoes. Don't remember the brand but I've seen a line of women's MTB shoes called "Mountain Quest".

  2. I just purchased a Quest bike last week, and so far so good. I did buy it at d**k's. I paid $175, and he's right: on road and light trails ONLY. I put about 5 miles a day on the bike, and it's pretty good. Seat needs help (too thin) but everything else is ok.

  3. Yes.

Quest is a brand exclusive to d**k's Sporting Goods (as far as I know). They are NOT mountain bikes, rather they are "sport bikes" intended for riding onroad and offroad on groomed trails. Definitely not for bouncing down a rocky path or fire trails, and not for long distance road riding (over 10 miles or so). They are similar in quality to Columbia.

They are considered price point bikes and as such you may see them on sale for as much as 50% off at certain times of the year. Are they worth the normal retail price? No. Are they worth it when they go on sale? Well, as long as you want to stay on the road, yes.

One of the dead giveaways of a bike quality is whether it is offered in various frame sizes. Quest is not.
