Has anyone heard of the call "in and out" in basketball?

I am a psychotherapist and I was playing 1 on 1, half-court basketball with a 12-year old client. He is insistent that there is a call "in and out", and that this is not 'street rules'. It would be helpful to me (as a treatment provider) to get more information on this. Thank you.

  1. in and out is when someone who is taking the ball out crosses the inbound line without passing it first  


  2. in and out is when u cross over the ball then carry it with his palm and then crosses it back over to the other side its really hard to explain but thats wat it is

  5. It' only a streetball rule From my experience an In and Out occurs when saving A pass from trailing out of Bound and then returning on Court to continue Play Supposedly When you Step out you can't Play the ball.until another team regains possesion.

  6. Never heard of in basketball.

    The missuses has pulled me up on in and out maneuvers in games of burry the sausage though.
