  1. The wonderful Scottish comedian & philosopher Billy Connolly used to advertise it in Britain in the 1980's...

  2. do you know how i discovered barbican well, here is the story.i don't drink for many reasons,(damned if a single one is good enough!!)

Recently a new beverage entered our home. Out of curiousity I took a sip. Did not like it. Took a few more and kinda got to liking it.As usually happens when you DISCOVER something,

So every flavour in the range was tried, and finally I have settled into my favourites.

    There is Regular (malt) (yuck),

    Lemon (triple YUMM)

    Green apple (double yumm)

    Peach (double yuck)

    Pineapple ( MAJOR YUCK)

    and Raspberry (yeh okayyyyy)

So now BARBICAN attaches itself onto a shopping list as a permanent fixture.

I am in love with Barbican non alcoholic (politically friendly) malt beverage. (WTF?)

Now here's my bit. You know how you can buy beer all over the world on the tap. Whats it called "DRAUGHT"?

And you can buy Fountain fresh - (an oxymoron if ever there was one), Coke, Pepsi, Fanta etc. at any restaurant. Well then how long before we can buy "DRAUGHT" Barbican at restaurants like the other aerated beverages?

  3. Yeah, I'm an egyptian living in the United Arab Emirates, and Barbican is manufactured here, it's a non alcoholic malt beverage (a.k.a. non alcoholic beer) and it comes in many flavors as u mentioned. As a matter of fact, I just got a peach flavored Barbican. And yup, it's sold in egypt!! That is the only non asian country I know of that sells it!
