This is getting to be a new thing on the market. It is supposed to conserve gasoline by adding more miles to your vehicle. Has anyone heard of it? If you have , have you tried it, and do you think it is possible or truly legitimate?

  1. Water is the lowest energy state for hydrogen and oxygen so it can't be used for gasoline.  BUT, water injection can, in some special circumsances, yield more power from a internal combustion engine.  This is  only because some of he excess heat can be converted to steam which can conribute to the expansion that pushes he piston.  For practical purposes in the current engines we use it is of little value.  The claims made for "run your car on water" are basically a hoax.
