  1. Most likely the company is not a company but is instead a "yahoo boy" in Nigeria running an elaborate scam.   They are pretty wise and make far more than you would ever believe.   If you have questions about the validity of the company then check them out with UK's equivalent of the State Corporation Commission.    Any company is required to register to do business.

  2. I called the better business beau and found out that their really is a company by that name, but the ones contacting you are not from there.  It's a SCAM, They want you to cash there checks and send the "remander" of the money (minus your share of course) and send the money Western Union.  I turned in the checks to the bank who will forward them on to the proper authorities.  The checks they send are FORGERIES, and if you actually get to cash them, YOU will be the one in trouble, not them.  YOU will have to reimburse the bank and may even face fraud charges, but if they contact you again, play along and save all of your e-mails so when they send you the checks, just print off the e-mails and give your bank all of the e-mails and checks and the UPS envelope they sent you the money in.  They will have a better chance at catching the creeps if all of us that are contacted do this!!!!

  3. I received one also.  This sounds like a scam, they  want you to deposit the checks in your account. Then forward on a personal check from you to them withholding your "percentage".  In a few weeks the check comes back as bogus and you are out the money you sent them. Besides, there are companies that will do it for 2 percent;  (www.inzap.com) is one. I bet inzap wont touch this with a 10 foot pole.

  4. yes they are a scam they sent me an email about job i replied then i sent traveler checks to cash then i was to western union the money to two differnt places i didnt chas them i called american express to check them they were not filled out when i gave them the check # they said they were conterfit luckly i checked them out first

  5. I'm not to sure on this one guys and dolls I am supposed to recieve the first check today.  They don't want me to deposit it jut western union it.

I still think that this is a scam

  6. I also received an email.  I am suppose to receive a check to.  Did you receive your check?

  7. It's a scam.

You should disregard any e-mails telling you that you've won money, are being offered a job, or asking you to launder money for nigerian royalty.

If you really gave them your physical address, you've already screwed up.  If you get a check, don't cash it--it will bounce and could land you in a world of trouble.  Certainly don't send them any money--they will be asking you for that soon if they haven't already.
