Has anyone heard recent news about Randy Pausch?

I usually visit his website, but he hasn't posted since June 26th, and we are in mid - July now ... I hope he's alright, but don't you think media would have reported instantly if he had passed away!? Do they think it's being kept quiet for the sake of the family? Is he on his death bed? Questions like these are truly daunting... For those of you who don't know him.. he was a professor at Carnegie Mellon University, and recently wrote a book called "The Last Lecture." I highly recommend it, and it is a bestseller. He wrote this book for his children, when he learned he had Pancreatic cancer, to tell them the things he knew he couldn't be there to say when they were older ... I HOPE HE'S OKAY!

I have not heard any news whatsoever, however I echo your sentiments, and wish him well.

I too have noticed the lack of updates on his update page.  I like to assume he is now totally focused on his family.
