Has anyone heard rumors of Chevy's restaurants closing?

Yes,they are and are doing it by regions of the country.I live in florida and they closed all of their stores here.

I heard it's because the smaller new southwest/mexican food chains were taking most of their business away.

Yes, several have already closed, including two near where I live in Southern California.

I live by one and I have not heard a thing. I will have to ask my server next time I go.

Never heard of Chevy's, but restaurants are closing everywhere due to the economy. Bennigan's as well as Steak n Ale (my favorite) are history. Filed Chapter 7.
