Has anyone heard this info about the stimulus?

I called the irs today to find out about my stimulus check. I am in the second batch of 10-18 (mine is 11). They informed me that my check is due to be processed on the 23rd but it wont be mailed until the 27th. Has anyone else heard this?

Yes they are mailing those checks and to be expected from May - July.

I'm not sur, but as far as I know, I know that the IRS doesn't send out checks on Thursday, and May 26 is a Hoilday so thay don't work on those days.

from what i hear you can't call the IRS.

Yeah, they told me that mine will be processed on the 26th and won't be mailed until the 30th and I am in the third batch. I wonder why there is such a holdup if they were planning for this?
