  1. Many of the branches of the US Armed forces use this slogan to remind people of the soldiers who have died in battle.

  2. no

  3. Many, many times. My husband is a soldier who can tell you that firsthand. Throughout the history of the US our freedom has been paid for with the lives of our men.

  4. YES and it is so very true ...... It cant be more true for Americans... I cant speak for other countries...

  5. No i actually haven't.

  6. yes. freedomis not free is true, because you can only achieved the true freedom when it is your time to die, why? because we are actually in prison, what do i mean by that? what i mean is our soul are actually imprisond in our body so when we died that we think that "it's not fair, why did i die when i still hav plans in life." just think that u have been freed.

REMINDER: don't think that you will kill your self just because you want freedom. freedom is much satisfyng if you live your life full of wonderful things left behind.

but think about it. to obtain freedom, u have to fight for what you believe in. and fighting is...well think of the loss of lives. freedom is definately not free. so you know what i think? we should value it b/c we all have it now. it's something you never think of, but i mean, things could happen. and we could lose it, you know?

so, treasure it while it lasts...

So, while freedom isn't free, it is never won on foreign soil and can only be nurtured at home.  And before you bring it up, WWII wasn't about freedom or liberty; it was about Good vs. Evil.  (Except for the Soviets...for Stalin it was all about power.)

  9. Yes....and it sounds like the title of a bad Toby Keith song.

  10. Yes i have
