Has anyone heard what Tito trinidad is going to do? Has he retired again?

I'm sure we will know when TIto is ready to tell us.  This is how high profile boxers do it now.  I'm hearing he might fight Jermain Taylor.  Not a good fight for either man if he intends to continue his career.  But its a better fight for Tito because he has less to lose.

If Jermain loses he's finished at an early age and he will have never made his mark in the sport like so many thought he would.  Personally I always thought someone would expose his flaw, dropping the right when he jabs.  He should win this one.  Moreover, he NEEDS to.

Tito doesn't stand to lose as much.  He has already made his mark having won multiple titles.   A win here could catapult him to a higher status because not much is expected of him at this point in his career.  He could name his opponent and maybe even price for his next fight and take it from there.  A lose would hurt him but he's expected to retire soon anyway.

Time will tell.  Tito is in the driver's seat because people still want to see him,  myself included.   With due respect Jermain never really excited me much.  He's a nice guy and a decent fighter but maybe he needs to move up.  He's big but not very strong at 160.

It is rumored that Felix Trinidad will fight Jermain Taylor in the fall in a fight that would most likely take place at 170 pounds.  It is probably the most ideal weight for each fighter because Tito probably can't make under 170 anymore, and Taylor is moving up to super middleweight anyway, which is only 2 pounds under 170.  It would give Trinidad another shot at beating a big name, and it would give Taylor a decent win after suffering back to back losses to Kelly Pavlik.
