Has anyone here been in a pony club?

Question

I was wondering if you could help me out here. I was on the phone to someone getting the names of events for a pony club competition and i wanted to make sure i wrote them all down right. I don't know anything about the subject so it all sounds a little foreign to me. so is this what the events are called?

form bucket

bending

flag and drum

tent pegging

bottles

two flag

well its either PPMG (Prince Phillop Mounted Games) or at pony club its just called games.

These are all mounted games, and I'm guessing not in the U.S.  The only ones I recognize from our mounted games rulebook are bending, bottle and two flag.  You can probably find the rulebook online at the link for your country's pony club's website.  Bending is up and back weaving around 5 poles, while you carry a baton which you'll hand off to the next rider on your team.  Two flag - 2 traffic cones with their tops cut off are set along the line, with a flag in one of them. You start off with a flag, put it in the empty cone, retrieve the one from the other cone, and hand it off.  Bottle (if it is the same as "bottles") is very similar to two flag except you are putting down/picking up bottles off of barrels.

yep. the best game/trainingis handy pony. They do a obstacle course that makes a: __/

                      __/  shape and you had to go in between. also making a pony/horse walk over a blanket on the ground(pinned down of course) and leading the pony while rider walks on buckets then mounts again, also throwing a potatoe into a bucket while walking/trotting.

Yep that sounds about right they have always had strange name for things at pony club i have belong to two pony clubs and always found the names of event's like thread the needle and so on.
