Has anyone here been to Angelsey?

me and the hubby are thinking of spending a few days in north wales/angelsey, can you recommend any where nice to stay...we have a dog so we are more interested in a walking holiday....any advice please

I like Anglesey, but I haven't been there for years so I can't recommend anywhere unfortunately, but check out the link, it might help.

It is a lovely place and the coastline is beautiful.  There are coast paths too which are worth checking out but watch out for the sheep with your dog.  I remember an incident with our dog at the time where he got a little too excited by all the sheep!

Whilst Anglesey is nice, you'd be better off in Snowdonia for a walking holiday. And Anglesey is just a short drive if you want to go there. I'd recommend Trearrdur Bay on Anglesey.

Hi, I love Anglesey, Trearddur Bay is lovely and if you do go to Trearddur  go to South Stack Lighthouse it's outside Holyhead and is lovely for walks. There are some beautiful places on Anglesey,  Penrhos Bird Sanctuary, Beaumaris, Rhosneiger. If you are walking with your dog and you are out in the wilderness and it's very sunny be careful as there are a lot of adders on Anglesey.
