Has anyone here been to matlock, derbyshire?

yh i live only like 15minutes away actually.I ve been visiting since i was about 5 or 6 years old.I love it, there are loads to do.I would probably say that the worst thing about it is the parking.And there are too many bikers!!!!But apart from that great place to visit, highly recommended.Arcades, shops,parks even rowing boats on the river derwent.Dont forget the cable cars!

Yehh! I went ages ago...all i can remember is tht there were loads of biker people (cus it was on good friday nd apparently they hav a get 2 gether evry year) ....and i went on one of those lift things to the top of the mountain.....its abit of a boring place tbh...crappy shops...but its like a picturesque kind of place

Lovely, picturesque town, ruined by cheap tat shops and bikers, parking is a nightmare

yes i have visited matlock and it was very pretty

u must go up in the cable car its great fun

Both Matlock and neighbouring Matlock Bath are lovely places to visit.

Yes - really enjoyed it - went up the Heights of Abraham plenty to see up there.  Parked at the bottom - no problem

my parents dragged me along to a trip down there when i 17, and i have to say, i rather enjoyed it. the scenery was beautiful and its so0 peaceful
