Has anyone here been to or no what Aiano, Italy looks like?

Having lived there for a year. you are a few minutes from the Moutains, (great skiing and snowboarding) and for around 10 dollars, you are an hour away by train to Venice. (very easy to get to and back from) I suggest you get a car. there is alot to see and do there. but it helps if you got a way to travel around. Go to the classes that Aviano AB has. and just get out with a map and see. It you try to learn the basic Italian. then Italians will be more friendly in helping you. Try it and see. I loved it there.

I lived there for four years.  It's "AVIANO" not aiano.  It's at the foothills of the alps and is beautiful.  Not sure what else u want to know?

boring little town just a big US air  base outside Rome

if u are talking about aviano, where there is a military base, then its just a small town with not many interests, but the region around is quite nice.
