 I never have this embarrassment  since I started playing with myself in the tub when I was pretty  small. I definitely had to learn that it was private  but I had that figured out by the time I was 11...  and after that I never really thought about it and it wasn't embarrassing the few times I was caught with my hand in my panties...

Some parents make things tense and .. that's just not necessary.
