  1. Lake Garda is not near Como, like said by another user: that one is Como Lake, also known as "Lario"; Lake Garda is near Verona. Anyway you're not going to meet ANY problem for meeting and eating both great food and people. Ahem... I mean, meeting people and eating food :) I hope you can go visit the castle just over the lake!

  2. Lake Guarda.  Como, Italy  North of Milan.

You can take a boat ride on the lake.

    Fabulous.

FOOD?  Lose weight now, or take larger size clothes for return. <wink>

All Italians are friendly.  Look at me.

They don't pinch ladies on elevators any longer.  Passe now.

You might hear, "E` dolce`", from some.

    <you're sweet", or ahhhh  "you're dessert">  wink

  3. No And Never Even Heard Of It Why.

  4. Malcesine and Limone are very nice.  Good food, people are fine.

  5. We're going middle of June - it will be my husband's birthday.

Have booked a day in Venice and going to the open-air opera in Verona.  So those are two possibilities for you.

Everyone I've spoken to, who has been, says they had a marvellous time.
