  1. yeah i had a dream where a friend was going to forget to pick me up to go to a party and that shed make a lame excuse and it happened

  2. Ever since I was a little girl, about 5 years old, I had recurring nightmares about looking outside when it was night and seeing a young man's face.  It wasn't a bloody face, or scary at all, but it scared me so much that, until I was 16, I couldn't look outside at night.  If I accidentally left the curtains open before it got dark, I would run and close them before I had to look outside.

When I was 14, I had a falling-out with a male friend, who had some weird possessive thing going on.  He started to get creepy, including doing drugs and he even sexually attacked my little sister on school grounds, right in front of everybody.  We totally stopped being friends then.

One night when I was 16, I just had a weird feeling all day.  It got even weirder because, earlier that day, I was cleaning my room and found a few pictures of him that I could never bring myself to get rid of, though we hadn't even spoken for over a year.  I burned them.

That night, I was reading in bed at 11:30 p.m.  Because of the nightmares, that I was still having, the curtains were closed.  I heard a tapping on my window.  When I heard it again, I went upstairs.  I didn't look out the window, or anything.  I just went up and woke up my parents.  My dad had an ill feeling too, because he got completely dressed, including his boots.  When we looked down from the window directly above mine, I saw the ex-friend but didn't see what he was holding.  All my dad saw was the .45 pistol, aimed at my window.

We called the police.  Because we lived in a very rural area, it took 30 minutes for them to get there.  About 5 minutes before they showed up, we heard one gunshot.  My poor mom looked out the window and had to see him lying there... he had put the gun in his mouth and pulled the trigger.

It wasn't until about a year after that when I realized that I hadn't had those nightmares... not since that night.  They were completely gone.

It took me a few more years to forgive him, though, especially when his family blamed mine for his suicide, and started doing things like slashing our tires and cutting our brake lines.  Luckily, nobody else got hurt.

When I was 19, I had another dream of him.  In this dream, he was not 16 anymore; he was 19, like me.  He wasn't angry or hurting.  He asked me to forgive him, and I agreed to.  When I woke up, I remembered all of the dream.  It took me awhile to think about it, but I realized I really had forgiven him.  Totally.  Since then (and I'm 31) I haven't been able to have a single angry thought about him.
