Yes, i have it's not hard. You could say a little bit uncomfortable but it's worth it. All you do is lean back and hold these bars and kiss it.

I've never kissed it, despite living nearby. However, the whole pissing rumour thing is ridiculous, it's secured from the public at night and such.

Now, not kissing it because of thousands of other peoples mouth germs... that's something to avoid!

There are bars underneath the stone so there is no way you can fall. THen there is a strong man who holds you up. YOu lie on you back and bend over to kiss it. IT is the most amazing thing that you MUST do while visiting Ireland.

It's a little awkward, but there is always a guide there to help and instruct you. It's up at the very top of the castle. When you reach the spot, you have to lie down on your back and then put your head back in order to kiss the stone.

There is also a photographer who will take your photo while you are kissing the stone. You have the option of ordering a copy after you finish your tour of the castle.  If you decide to do that, you pay them and they will mail the photo to you after you return home.
