I'm staying there in a couple weeks for the first time. Has anyone here ever stayed there and if so what do you like or dislike about it? Is there anything I should know before I get there? Thanks. =)

  1. I have not stayed at the Wilderness Lodge but I have stayed at both the Polynesian and the Grand Floridian and I have also stayed in the campground at WDW.  The rooms at the resorts that I stayed at were very nicely laid out, the beds were comfortable, there were plenty of thick, thirsty towels and the rooms were very clean, bright and inviting.  The bathrooms were of a good size as well with plenty of free little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, hand lotion, nice soap, etc.  I really do not remember anything  that I disliked about the rooms that I stayed in.  If you want more information about the Wilderness Lodge and WDW, like the best way to plan your days/stay, pick up a copy of Birnbaum's Walt Disney World - the Official Guide - it will be the best $20 you spend and you can find it at Barnes and Nobles, Waldenbooks or just about any good sized bookstore.  You can also pick one up while you are at WDW.  The book tells you about all of the attractions, places to eat, drink and shop, all the different areas of WDW and so much more.

  2. It's fine.  We go to the Dells almost every year.  Our favorite is Mt. Olympus Water and Theme Park.  It's so much better than all the other theme parks in the Dells.
