Has anyone here gotten pregnant on the pill?

I went on vacation and I forgot to bring my pills so I missed the first nine days of my last pack. And when I got home I just started where I should have been some where in the second week. I had s*x everyday all month. In the middle of the month I had a little spotting, about five days after I would have ovulated (if I even did). My period was one day late and lighter then it should have been, and I've been on the pill well over a year. I've done research and many women who get pregnant while taking the pill have bleeding around the time they normally have their withdrawal bleed. I have every possible symptom Nausea, headaches, fatigue, sore b*****s, lower back pain, bloating... and my 'period' ended about a week ago...

could I be pregnant? or and I being stupid? Should I even bother taking a test? Has anyone expirenced this before?

Yes When you don't take the pills as directed you can become pregnant. I was told that if you miss a day you could double the pills up and continue to take them. Well that may be the case for some but I have a son now which is proof my body did not take well to missing a few doses and doubling pills up to make up for it. I would get checked because chances are you may be pregnant. But don't continue to take the pills until you know for sure. Just get a dollar store test . If you are pregnant any test will work!!

yep, my best freind got prego on the pill...but i never did, with as many pills as i have missed... but if your really haveing all those symptoms its very possible...

Not only have I gotten pregnant on the pill twice, I failed one pregnancy test when I was really pregnant and had my period three times when I was pregnant.  Some signs don't work for everyone.  If in doubt, take a test.  You need to find out soon because being on the pill while you are pregnant is not good for the baby.

My roommate's mom had my roommate at 19 and she was on the pill and VERY good about it. So it is possible., And missing a pill SERIOUSLY increases your chances of pregnancy. You had 9.

You have the symptoms, but any delays or light period CAN be attributed to other things. So you basically had unprotected s*x, not protected because you missed pills.

So i'm gonna say its possible and you should take a test, though not 100% liikely

yes, im one of the lucky few. i took them everyday at the same time also. but im happy to be :)
