Question:

Has anyone here have experience adopting a Filipino child legally?

I am asking this because we do plan to adopt in the future. I heard some people have adopted a child through registering it as their own baby but I would like to know if there's somebosy here who has done it through the right channels. How much does this process cost and is it very difficult considering all the red tapes in the Philippines?

I would appreciate you help. Thanks

  1. You might want to check out the Montel show.  One of this staff is doing the same thing and she said she would talk about on his website how its going for her, including the process and if its a successful adoption and all.

And I want to say congrats and good luck! :)

  2. Legally it would take about $15-25000, 13 months and if you or your spouse is of filipino heritage it takes a little less time as you are moved up a little as a priority.  I know because my husband and i looked into it and i am filipina.  It's expensive and i know how hard it is, it's great if you have the money....as you know everyone involved want's to get paid.

    Not sure about dual citizenship

  3. AS opposed to illegally?

    i hope not.
