Has anyone here participated in the Experiment in International Living study abroad program? What'd you think?

Question

I want to go to Australia next summer for 5 weeks; 2 weeks are living with a host family and 3 weeks are living with about 13 other teens and the group leader. Has anyone here ever went abroad for a summer to Australia or any other country with the EIL program? If so, how did you like it? Is there anything I should know before deciding to go? How much spending money should I bring?

I haven't personally but I know a few people who have studied with EIL and  in Austria and thea all seem t have had nice experiences.
