  1. Since I'm Italian, Bocciaccio is compulsory while attending school, so I had to read some short stories from the "Decameron". They're not bad at all, and Boccaccio's style is fairly fluent, in spite of the archaic Italian he used.

  2. I liked it. It's, in fact, a collection of short stories, told to

each other by a group of young people who ran away from the city, to

save themselves from plague. The stores are different: some are love

stories with happy endings, some - love stories with sad endings, a

lot of erotic stories, stories about crude practical jokes, and some

cliched stories - anecdotes. You can have your pick.

  3. I've read it, but i didn't like it

  4. I enjoyed it.  It's full of a variety of different stories, many of them quite bawdy (medieval people had a very earthy sense of humour).  I enjoy the stories, though the people telling them are not particularly interesting, they are not vivid characters like the people in The Canterbury Tales.

  5. i read some parts of it for a history class, and i enjoyed the parts i read.
