Has anyone honeymooned in the Mayan Riviera?

We are planning our honeymoon for this August (delayed honeymoon because I am a teacher) and we love the Mayan Riviera, but can't decide on a resort! They all look great!

Has anyone been there on their honeymoon, or vacation too, and can you recommend a resort?
