  1. no, but I went with my brother-in-law when he did the Grand Prix experience at silverstone. we even had lunch in the BRDC. It was a great day. He had great fun tearing round the track, and it was just as much fun for us watching.

  2. other than amateur carting - no

  3. Nearest I have got was to drive a mates ford sierra cosworth at a run what you brung day at a drag strip in England, ( Santa Pod) great fun!!

  4. Well I am to really from the F1 selection, nor have I raced on the track, but I have done a few hillclimbs, both on sealed roads, about two years ago.

Looking to get into doing some more seriously in the coming months.

  5. haven't raced on a F1 track but i did propose to my girlfriend on the start finish line at the Melbourne GP in front of about 2000 people.

  6. i dont spend a lot of time in the f1 section but yes i have been racing since i was twelve years old.i started in quarter midget then progressed to kart racing, from there i went to SCCA solo then road racing with a rx7,i recieved my NASCAR late model licence and my SCCA vintage open wheel licence at the same time but opted for circle track, raced circle track for several years then got interested in motorcycles and raced super twins in AMA,was injured a couple of years back and took some time off from racing then a friend conned me into going kart racing again and have been racing rotax dd2 class for two years now and love it.so yes i have raced cars on a track.

i should add my family used to own johnny rutherford's 1971 gurney eagle indy 500 car and that is what i took my drivers test in for vintage racing.

  7. Actually, no. I wish I could though! It seems really fun. I know it's risky and could be dangerous, but that's what it's all about-the excitement, the adrenaline... I would like to have a go at it someday.

  8. No, just my kart.

I could perhaps put a budget together for some underpowered tin top but karts are the best bang for your buck and I work for a leaving.

    Here's an on-board video I uploaded recently.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEQr9PZfK...

The sound doesn't do the kart justice but it's a real cheap camera.

Now that I think of it I couldn't care less for cars, this is the least taxing track we drive on, you should see the one I hurt my ribs on and now have to sit it out and bite my fingernails.

    And here are my pics

No I don't need cars, they're just boring, formulas are what one's supposed to drive on a race track.

  9. I've been karting many times (not competitively, but i take it as seriously lol my girlfriend won't go with me for fear we might kill each other trying to win :P) but as I can't drive I've never had the chance to do a track day.... I would love to though obviously...

I live near the Ralf Schumacher Kart centre out here in Germany, but haven't had the chance to go to it yet.... hopefully soon!!!
