I am intrested in becoming a independent business owner threw this company. I am not sure if anyone has heard of the company, but they have commericals all over. They manufacture health, and beauty aids. My question is for people who have started a business with them, or know someone who has.

  1. They are the same company.  My brother was in this and kept begging me to do it with him.  I had already had my own business in another industry for many years and didn't want to venture in another business.  I had already completed what my goal was and was quite happy with it.  But I supported what he wanted to do because he was my brother.  I purchased the products from him, as well as many other people did through him.  He sold well beyond his star quota, but they didn't give him his earnings.  He never was paid.  So he called headquarters and they gave him the run around.  Three years now, and he still never received his compensation.  When they were Amway, my parents got involved and didn't do very well either.  On the other hand a close friend of my parents have been involved in the company for many years and they do pretty good.  But their not Independent financially yet, they still have their jobs. But maybe you would go further.  Each person is different.  But don't go into it as looking at it as a job.  You have to consistantly recruit recruit recruit and sale sale sale.  There is no "real" residual side of this.  They claim there is, but looking at the facts there really isn't.  Residual income would be something that comes in regardless if you or your team doesn't sale a thing.  The only way to have a real residual side to it is from a billing cycle.  Something people pay into each month and you receive a percentage each month, even if you were to go on vacation or your entire team say even for six months.  That income still comes in.  that is true residual income. so if you or your line don't sale one month, you won't make any money.  There will be times where you don't sale, so you won't make money.  But if you have the ambition, the drive and will recruit recruit and sale sale sale, then you will succeed as long as you don't give up even if it's making money tight.  Just do it.

    Good Luck to you!
