Has anyone is Australia experienced problems with a company called Queensland Electricity ?

It seems that Queensland Electricity has transferred us over to them without our consent - we had an EXTREMELY pushy salesperson here a while ago who talked my fiance into giving him his name so that he could 'send some information' - now we've been transferred to them and I was just wondering if anybody has had any issues similar - as I've heard stories of this company bullying elderly people into signing contracts, etc...

Sorry, I have been out of Brissy for a few years now.

Make sure this is what has happened first and be sure of your facts.

If that's the case then write a letter immediately to the Head Office stating your dislike of the way in which it was done.

I hope you have the salesperson's name also, would be handy.

Tell them that it was not your wish and you want to go back to your previous server.

You can always contact the local Brissy TV stations and see if they have heard of this or anything similar happening.
