I'm a L*****n and virtually all of my male friends have admitted to having a crush on me or more (I've gotten several declarations of love over the past year).  I handle it delicately and politely, knowing that it's insanely difficult to tell someone that you have strong feelings for them.  I'm completely alright with being friends with them after discussing the fact that I do not like to date guys.  If your friend is one worth liking, then she's going to be accepting and flattered when you tell her.

I've told several of my straight friends that were they lesbians I would totally be into them.  And I'm completely honest.  I'm a fan of absolute honesty... if you have feelings for her, tell her!
