Has anyone listened, have 'lessons been learned'?

We've heard the words many times, what has changed?

The moment you hear the dread phrase 'lessons to be learned' you know that that's the last thing that will happen.  It's just a get out clause.

Someone MIGHT have listened (only might), but so far nothing has changed.

Wait for another by-election or until we are nearer to a general election.  Promises will be made (like the one to have an EU referendum and 'no more taxes').  Have these things happened yet?

Probably too busy fiddling the expenses.
