  1. I live in puglia, the region of italy where lecce is. My friend is from theere and he says it's really beautiful, but the way of life , especially in southern italy, is very different to america and northern/continental europe. For example if you drive into a town between 1 and 5 in the afternoon it will seem like a ghost town, because everyone is having their big midday meal, but in the evening it will be bustling with life. They also sre less friendly to strangers, but once you get to know them they're some of the nicest people around. It's definaltely cheaper to live in the south than in the north, and everyone lives in appartments. In puglia the springs and summers are wonderful but the fallls and winters suck (i'm witnessing this right now out of my wnidow.)

    Hope this has helped.

  2. I used to go there every summer on vacation. Lecce is wonderful, with great cultural life. The people are great. It generally costs less to live there than in northern Italy, but I cannot be more precise at the moment. if you ask me specific questions, I can ask my friends who live there.

  3. Me!Lecce is a really nice place.A medium apartment will cost you about 400 euros per month. The food is great and not to expensive.I used to spend around 900 euro per month for house, food, transport and some 2-day trips here and there.People are really friendly and the town itself provides a vast variety of cultural events.

  4. nope.....:) would like to travel that way some day.....
