Has anyone met Jonny Wilkinson? If so what is he like?

YES! My old matron at school was good friends with him... He came round once to The Dragon School in Oxford. He looked exactly as he sounds on TV. I was SO shy when I spoke to him, but he was very laid back. He told me to keep up my rugby, which was obviously a big compliment!

Seriously his interview after the England Italy game..where he said england were awesome (after they barely scraped a win)  really put me off him...........but hey at least he doesn't go in for  indoor dogging like a selection of his other team mates, after losing rugby matches..(alledgedly).

Generally though I  don't care if he is the worst person in the world..if he can win matches then he's brilliant....which he can't any longer btw, so he's annoying, and he can take his lovely personality and white teeth and shove it.

I've played against him when he was coming back to fitness in the Falcons 2nd XV. I was playing in the Sale 2nd XV at hooker (they paid my way through uni, I wasn't going to complain).

He is a massive person. I play hooker, and my waist is 34 inches with a chest of 42 inches, but he had to be bigger than that.

Admittedly, he did pick me up after a penalty had been awarded, so he's a good sportsman.

Apart from that, I've only ever seen him on tele.
