yeah i met him at newmarket and is real name is Lanfranco Dettori n i backed three of his rides that day n not one of them won! great character for the racing game nevertheless

I have met him many times,and this story below was a very good day alround with Lanfranco(Frankie) Dettori.

  A novice owner of mine was holding his birthday celebrations at Leicester Races,along with his mother's,and they had hired a viewing box for the day and had invited over 30 friends to help the day go with a swing.He wanted a top jock on board his horse and asked me who i had booked.I replied L.Dettori,he asked who that was ,was he related to Frankie?-I told him he was a cousin and left it at that.Anyway,imagine his surprise when Frankie strolled into the paddock.Both him and his mom were grinning from ear to ear.Frankie was ,well he was Frankie,and duly won on the horse,posed for many pictures and made the day for the birthday boy.

this is for Bernard S- my head is the same size now as it was when i was 17 years old,and the reason this is so my sad friend is that i deal in fact and reality not fiction.

Not met him personally, but I know a few people who have (and I've dealt with his father in law in the past).  They've told me a few stories that I couldn't possibly print on here for fear of libel!

Yeah, his name is Lanfranco, and his father (who was also a very good joceky) is Gianfranco.
