Has anyone noticed how arrogant some of the conservatives questions/answers have been tonight?

I don't know what it is tonight, but I feel like everything I open is some immature Republican bashing Obama for either skin color, where he was born, what religion he is, etc. And I am absolutely sick of it! I am not a fan of Obama because of his political views, and that is ALL! I am absolutely appalled by some of the question/answers on here tonight, and they are mainly (not all) by Republicans! I, myself am a Republican, but I can see why so many Democrats think we're all bad (yes, I know it goes both ways, but I especially noticed this evening...) Usually it is a fair mix, but it's bad tonight! Has anyone else noticed this?

  1. I have noticed this since I was a child. Republicans care about one thing, themselves. They don't care who is insulted, who gets sick, who dies, who goes hungry, who goes without medicine or health care. They dont care about the environment we live in, or who is about to lose their homes. They are selfish and arrogant. Just don't raise their taxes, so they cant afford that seventh house.

  2. Luck of the draw.  I have seen just the opposite.

  3. Don't be too hard on them...tonight they have witness the beginning of the end for them.

They have all obviously hung on every word of every Democratic speaker and their "Republican convictions" were weakened. Now they are wondering how they are going to get excited by listening to d**k and Bush profess the virtues of greed and killing and McCain tell even more embellished stories of being a POW.

Now imagine that to the background music of twangy country music with sugary and schlepy patriotic overtones followed by the Beach Boys belting out Bomb Bomb Iran.

  4. I actually didn't notice anything unusual but I welcome and applaud your sentiments and statements just the same.

Leading Democrats and Republicans don't treat eachother like that.  On the contrary, they're civil and polite so I strongly believe the people you observed here tonight are very misguided.

Leading Republicans are not racist or against all Muslims or Islam itself as you often see here by members claiming to be Republican. In fact even President Bush made a speech, and I'm no fan of the man, right after the terrorists attacks were he strongly spoke out against Islamophobia. Best Bush speech ever

"The face of terror is not the true faith of Islam.  That's not what Islam is all about.  Islam is peace.  These terrorists don't represent peace.  They represent evil and war.

When we think of Islam we think of a faith that brings comfort to a billion people around the world.  Billions of people find comfort and solace and peace.  And that's made brothers and sisters out of every race -- out of every race.

America counts millions of Muslims amongst our citizens, and Muslims make an incredibly valuable contribution to our country.  Muslims are doctors, lawyers, law professors, members of the military, entrepreneurs, shopkeepers, moms and dads.  And they need to be treated with respect.  In our anger and emotion, our fellow Americans must treat each other with respect.

Women who cover their heads in this country must feel comfortable going outside their homes.  Moms who wear cover must be not intimidated in America.  That's not the America I know.  That's not the America I value.

I've been told that some fear to leave; some don't want to go shopping for their families; some don't want to go about their ordinary daily routines because, by wearing cover, they're afraid they'll be intimidated. That should not and that will not stand in America.

Those who feel like they can intimidate our fellow citizens to take out their anger don't represent the best of America, they represent the worst of humankind, and they should be ashamed of that kind of behavior.

This is a great country.  It's a great country because we share the same values of respect and dignity and human worth.  And it is my honor to be meeting with leaders who feel just the same way I do.  They're outraged, they're sad.  They love America just as much as I do.

Yet here often members who claim the Republican mantle don't make a difference between Islam and terror, the regurlars all know the poster who's name is simply Latin for "Islam must be destroyed". That's just one example

The point is those people for whatever reason are nowhere near in touch with their party, they're expressing far right fringe opinions not the Republican line. it's very good to see there are real Republicans here willing to ask and answer questions, thanks for posting

  5. I have noted nothing of what you say you are seeing.

  6. You're gonna vote for someone that is connected in some way, any way with BUSH. That makes you ALL BAD. FACT.

  7. I haven't looked at all of the questions but, most of what I have seen has been the opposite. Most of the questions I have seen have been from Democrats in a weak effort to make republicans look bad. I have felt that we are holding our own.

I don't like Obama because I think he is a puppet who speaks eloquently and tries to tell us what the democratic party thinks we want to hear or worse, that he is a mad man who will tear our country apart.

The last two government leaders who became leaders on a platform of "change" were Hitler and Castro. Look it up and you will see I am right.

JL is a prime example of what I have seen from the Democratic side of the house.
