Question:

Has anyone noticed how our medals have dried up since Gordon "Kiss of Death" Brown flew into Beijing?

Why is the man who sold off our sports fields to Property Developers and closed our swimming pools over there trying to claim the credit?

Why is he promising honours to our athletes when he ignores our armed forces who risk their lives for us every day?

Why is he now asking business to come up with the money he has already promised?

Vote the hypocrite out asap, and get someone genuine in charge!

  1. Because most politicians are like parasites: they latch onto anything that the majority of the public 'approve' of and then claim the credit in a cheap attempt to boost their popularity.

  2. You're wrong in some of what you say. The medals dried up when it came to Track & Field and that is bugger all to do with GB and ALL to do with the athletes themselves.  I also think your getting a wee bit mixed up. I'm not a fan of Brown but don't blame him for his predecessor's mistakes. I also think the 2012 funding committee should have learned a couple of budget lessons from Follyrood in Edinburgh and Wembley stadium. That lot went ahead and bid for the 2012 games and I'd bet that there's hardly a person with REAL financial acumen amongst them.

  3. Your medals are pretty much non-existent anyways...

    *USA rocks...*

    Lol

    Just kidding

    =)

  4. Tories began the big sell off. Tories committed our forces to more deaths than any war since.

Gordon Brown and Labour have presided over the best economic growth for a century.

I really don't get how some people forget the past so quickly. It's like if anything goes wrong, we need to have a scape goat RSN!

  5. The curse of Brown strikes again, everything that oaf goes near turns into a disaster. Tip top.

  6. No mate, the medals dried up when the elitist sports like yachting and horse riding were over.

Give a reference as the sports fields sold off since he came into power and what swimming pools has he closed in the last year, give a reference.

In what way is he ignoring the armed forces?

This is not really a question is it, it's more of a rant.

  7. British athletes have done well.  Politicians indeed should be held accountable in their actions, and be made to honour their promises.

  8. I m fed up with Gordon bashing which has become something of a national pastime in UK. Give the guy a break
