  1. For the same reason that the ice caps on Mars are decreasing, the sun is going through some unprecedented cycles. This winter in the USA has seen some of heavieast snowfalls and at the same time some of the warmest temperatures, but still slightly below average.

It's just a cycle, Earth breathes, just like Al Gore said, but what he didn't realize is that sometimes it coughs, gets a fever or flu (think Little Ice Age), so Earth occasionally experience fluctuations, especially when at a Glacial Maximum, like 10,000 years ago, or at an Interglacial Maximum, like now and 20,000 years ago.

  2. I'm from the midwestern us and we've actually been having an extremely mild summer. Its only started getting up past 30 in the last couple of weeks.

  3. Strangely enough, winter in Brisbane has been colder than I can recall for quite a few years. I'm not sure if that observation is supported by the statistics, but we've needed winter woolies and heaters more than usual at night this year.

  4. Have felt cooler in Cairns, windy, rain etc etc. The forecast may say it reaches 27 but I would say that is very short lived..maybe 2 minutes lol.

  5. here in Western Australia it has been colder than usual and wetter this year up to date, iam actually feeling the cold this winter more than before, we had a terrible two days of storms

think its clearing tomorrow for two days then rest of week wet again

  6. You cannot be serious, I'm freezing my hard drive off here in Melbourne.
