Has anyone noticed that obama doesnt ever answer questions with straight answers?

he honestly doesn't mcCain answers with what he thinks about the situation and what he will do about it, obama usually just tries to skirt around the edges of the question, and yet people cheer when he answers with his "answers"

Millions of us have noticed that. It's one of the reason we won't elect him president. He does the same in the Senate, voting present rather than yes or no. He is just a phony slick talking lawyer from Chicago.

I've noticed that he does that as well, but so do all other politicians. No smart politician is going to say something that's going to p**s people off. I think people cheer when Obama answers the questions because it not a straight for or against, a lot of times yes or no isn't good enough because some people are still going to feel like they're not being heard or represented. Compromises and pleasing the most people wins elections.

True for the most part, but I was impressed with his statement regarding Sarah Palin's daughter's pregnancy.  He was very clear, concise and I respect his position.  In case anyone doesn't know he said anyone in his campaign attacking her over that issue would be fired - families of politician's should be off limits.  I couldn't agree more.  After all, is Bristol supposed to agree with her mother on everything and not do or think for herself at 17?  The entire liberal attack on that issue is absolutely ludicrous - regardless of Sarah's position on teen pregnancy.

That's not true, the media wants BILLARY for president. So they engineer what they want use to hear. I've worked in the oil business for about 30 yrs., the media will not talk bad or even investigate the oil companies. The only reason gas is so high is because big oil likes to make a lot of money. There's still a lot of oil in the U.S., it only takes $18 a Bbl. for the oil companies to make a profit. Exxon, Shell, Conoco, Bp all own their on oil reserves, that means they get their oil for free, not $115 a Bbl.. Remember anything after $18 a Bbl is pure profit. Valero has to buy oil, so why if they buy oil, are they charging the same for gas as the ones that have their own oil? Because they are all cornering the market, to see how much is too much. Big oil says it only makes $.07 a gallon, no no no, more like $1.55 gl.. So the politicians are kept in the dark.
