  1. Yea, but really it depends on the animal. Some are more easily frightened while others take time. Some even let you feed them. So really it depends

  4. It depends on the area, some squirrels are tame and will let you feed them from your hand. Not sure about rabbits though. If you feed them often enough they will learn to trust you.

Yep.  They freeze when they see you because most predators see movement better than, say, a little bunny motionless among grass.  So, they sit unmoving and hope you'll pass them by.  When you continue to approach and get within 'pouncing distance', they take off, because they are sure you've seen them and only fleeing will save them at that point.  

  6. Haha, yeah. I get really close to squirrels sometimes and they don't move so im like ooh im gonna catch it but then it runs. wow i just realized how stupid that sounded.
