    here's some choices

  2. They're called craters.

  3. Weird... I just see them as craters.

  4. Those darker spots are basalt filled pools call maria.  The were formed when a few high speed massive asteroids struck the moon so hard that the crust cracked open and liquid rock spilled out.  To me them dark spots look like a dragon or an aninal with a ball over its nose.

  5. The dark spots are called Maria which means "seas" in Latin. They used to think they were actual seas and they all have names like "Sea of Serenity", "Sea of Tranquility" etc. In fact, the Maria are just giant craters where the impact was so hard that the surface melted and settled into a smooth flat circle.

I see the face of a man with his eyes and mouth open wide as if he has just seen something horrific.

  6. I think they're impact craters that filled with lava which later turned into basalt.

Any figure you see in them is the result of pareidolia.

  7. i see the rabbit and sometimes even a castle
