Has anyone on the internet ever changed your mind on a serious issue?

I always see all this fighting on the net, especially about religion, racism, politics n stuff.

Just wondering if anybody has had any success in convincing anybody of anything?

No however some questions have made me research something I otherwise wouldn't have.

To persuade someone, you must first get their attention.  That problem exists both on and off the net.

Not yet they haven't. There is plenty of scope for anyone to have a good try though if they want to. I am always prepared to listen.
