Hi guys, here's another weird one lol. On occasion I'll hear voices when I'm very, very sleepy; before you go thinking I'm psycho type in hallucinations in the wikipedia search. Its normal but it's very rare. Anyway, I wanted to know if anyone else had experienced anything similar to this..without the drugs lol.

  1. without trying to be funny...

opt.#1-it could be a ghost. family members who have died.

    opt#2-schizophrenia

    opt#3-someones tv.

  2. Actually, I think that's pretty common.  When your body is overworked, your brain becomes tired and your mind doesn't work as well as it should.  That's what causes the hallucinations and voices.

  3. Days after my mom died i kept thinking i hear her coughing or calling me when i was trying to sleep. My brain made it feel so real but i knew it wasnt :(

  4. Yes, these are the extraterrestrial biological entities (EBE's) coming to take you for a medical examination.  They utilize telepathic thought for communication. These voices are to alert you to their presence and coming actions.  Do not be worried since, they intend no harm.  Read the book: "Missing Time" by author Budd Hopkins.

  5. I've had that but it was when I took Ibuprofen, and it's a common pain reliever it's not supposed to do that. I'm kinda OCD so I think my brain is susceptible/low tolerance to medicine. Ibuprofen makes me go bonkers though. When I get really sleepy sometimes I start talking illegibly until someone asks me what are you talking about? And it wakes me up again. IDK maybe your dreams kick in prematurely?

  6. yeah, if you're tired enough and/or have a micro-sleep you can have some really bizarre stuff going on.  I once worked 80+ hours at a stretch and started to hallucinate so they sent me away.  I was in the navy at the time.  they thought i might be on drugs but i wasn't.

  7. Hahaha word homie. I know what you mean. When i am sleepy or even home alone i hear things. I think its a ghost cause i believe i have one in my house cause like i will be in bed and then i think he likes to mess with me by knocking stuff off my table. But your problem. I think its normal. I dont get scared anymore. So yeah i have expeirienced it

  8. hi ^__^

I have trouble  with falling asleep and suffer from insomnia. I don;t want to become depended on the drugs so I try to sleep without the, and I also hear voices, it would bother me a lot and at one point I assumed I was going crazy. I went to see my doctor but he said it was just my mind dealing with the lack of sleep.

My sleeping patterns are getting better now and I not as tierd, and I don;t hear voices anymore (only if I;m tierd)

so nothing to worrie about hope you feel better

  9. Absolutely, everyone hallucinates when sleep deprived. I even had to be hospitalized for it cuz I slept like 2 hrs a night for 5 weeks and was sleepwalking and then hallucinating when awake.  I stopped hallucinating and sleepwalking when I was able to get a more normal sleep pattern.

The voices- are they inside your head?  or outside your head, like in the room somewhere?

    Inside your head- no worries.

Outside your head you need to get checked out by a psychiatrist and a neurologist you could have a medical or mental health condition.

Help is available, if this is what's happening to you.

  10. I don't think it's that rare. My friends and I have talked about having hallucinations when we were too tired. Especially when driving...like seeing someone standing in the road. I think that's normal.
